UnKover is an experimental video effects application. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the app.

2. Permissions and Data Usage

• Camera — Used for capturing video and applying real-time effects. Camera data is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
• Microphone — Used for recording audio during video capture. Audio data is processed locally and is not shared.
• Storage/Media Files — Used to save recorded videos to your gallery and to allow you to select existing videos for processing. We only access files as needed and do not modify them without your consent.

3. Information Collection

UnKover does not require an account. We do not collect personal information like your name, email, or location. We may collect non-personal technical data (device model, OS version) to improve app performance and troubleshoot issues.

4. Third-Party Services

We use Firebase (a Google service) for basic app functionality and analytics. Firebase may collect anonymized usage data. For more details, refer to the Google Privacy Policy.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable measures to protect your data. Since video processing happens locally, your media content remains under your control on your device.

6. Children’s Privacy

UnKover is designed for a general audience and is not specifically directed to children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
