Can I record with the front and back camera at the same time?
Yes. UnKover records both and saves one video. Your phone has to support two cameras at once; every other feature works with one camera.
Does UnKover use AI?
Yes. On-device AI separates you from your background, finds and follows faces, and recognises hand gestures. Your video is not sent anywhere to be processed.
Do I need a green screen to change my background?
No. Studio mode separates you from your room on the phone, live.
Does the teleprompter appear in the video?
No. The script is on your screen only, just under the lens, so you can read it while looking at the camera.
Can I blur faces while I record?
Yes. Faces are covered as you record, so the saved video never shows them.
Can the camera follow me while I move?
Yes. Turn on Auto-frame, tap your face, and the picture stays on you.
Can I start recording without touching the phone?
Yes. Hold a hand gesture up to the lens, or press a volume key. A countdown gives you time to get back in frame.
Are my videos uploaded?
No. Your videos are saved on your phone. Nothing leaves it unless you share it.
Can I get a copy of my data?
Yes, if you're signed in. Open Settings › My account › Download my data, and it saves your account details and support messages to a file on your phone. Your videos and scripts never reach us, so they are already on your phone.
